Statewide Resources for Artists and Arts Organizations

Ohio Arts Organizations
Searchable, easy-to-use database of Ohio arts and cultural organizations of all types, as well as non-arts organizations offering arts and cultural programming. Basic contact information and Web sites (if available) are displayed for all listings, which are periodically updated to remain current. Both OAC grantees and non-grantees may be listed.

ArtsinOhio.com
A fast, easy to use online guide for Ohio residents and visitors to search for arts and cultural events by city, date, organization, special accessibility, price, special discounts and more. More than 800 organizations list their information in ArtsinOhio.com with more than 2,500 current, unique events at any time. Participating organizations include museums, symphonies, concert series, festivals, libraries, historical societies, zoos and many other organizations with cultural programming.

Community Partnership for Arts and Culture
CPAC was formed by The Cleveland Foundation, The George GundFoundation, and The Cleveland Cultural Coalition. Their mission is to strengthen Northeast Ohio's cultural assets and help more residents and visitors enjoy them.

Cleveland Live
Hosted by The Plain Dealer, this site is a comprehensive jumping-off point for information about Cleveland-area sites and attractions. Site also includes searchable calendar of events.

ColumbusArts.com
A comprehensive resource for Central Ohio culture and arts on the Web. Includes an event search engine, virtual tours of the Ohio, Palace and Great Southern Theatres and contact information for dozens of arts organizations.

Current Event Article

As required by section 119.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Arts Council hereby gives notice of its intent to share with the public a new rule regarding the circumstances under which councilmembers are prohibited from participating in the determination of financial support for OAC-funded organizations of which they are board members or employees. The hearing will be held Thursday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m., in Room 420 on the 4th floor of the Rhodes State Office Tower.
